The handball regulation goal size is a six metre (19' 8") D-shaped zone. It is part of the standard handball court markings. Two quarter-circles (radius 6 metres) and a short straight line will join them all together. The internal measurement is two (2) metres (6.56 feet) from the floor to the underside of the top bar.
The main dimensions and markings for the Team Handball Court consist of the following major elements. The indoor court has a hard surface. All lines are 5 centimeters (2 inches) thick; the only exception is the goal line, which is 8 centimeters (3 inches) thick. All lines must be prominent and of the same color.

The goals are placed in the center of each goal line. They must be fixed to the ground or to the walls behind them. The handball goals are 2 meters high and 3 meters wide. The goal measurements . A mark is provided at a distance of 7mts from the goal post from which penalty shots are taken in case any foul occurs during the handball match.
